A website for a Clitheroe business

Clitheroe is the market town of the Ribble Valley, north-east of Blackburn. Whalley lies south toward Blackburn, and Longridge is west toward Preston. A page for the valley still has to name the town. The castle keep is the landmark, and the villages around it are not the same search.

The market town, not the whole Ribble Valley

Clitheroe is the market town of the Ribble Valley, north-east of Blackburn. It sits on a limestone knoll, with the castle keep above the centre and open country between the villages. Stone is the usual building, not a brick terrace copied from a mill town.

Whalley is south toward Blackburn. Longridge is west toward Preston. People search those names separately. A single page that says 'Ribble Valley' and never says Clitheroe fails the person who typed the town, and a Clitheroe page that pretends to be Whalley fails the other way.

  • Name Clitheroe, the castle town, and only then the other valley places you actually visit.
  • Open country between the villages means a job here is often a drive, not a neighbouring street. Say so if that changes whether you will come.
  • Do not reuse a Blackburn terrace description. The housing is stone, on a knoll.

Ribble Valley

Clitheroe, Whalley and Longridge are separate places in the Ribble Valley, north-east of Blackburn. People search the market town, the abbey village and the fell-side town by name.

Questions

How much does a website cost for a small business in Clitheroe?

The published from-prices do not change because the job is in a market town: £750, £1,250, £2,000 and £2,500 are the starting steps. A separate Whalley or Longridge explanation is extra only when it is actually different copy. There is no Ribble Valley multiplier.

How long does a Clitheroe website take?

A focused site for the market town is often two to four weeks after the photos of real stone jobs are available. Allow longer, often four to eight weeks, if the site must also explain visits to Whalley or Longridge without repeating the castle paragraph.

Do you work in Clitheroe?

Yes. Clitheroe is north-east of Blackburn, and the studio is in Darwen. The town has its own page so it is not folded into a generic valley label. We do not publish a Clitheroe office or name customers in the castle town.

What is included for a Clitheroe business?

The page can talk about the market town, the keep and the open country between villages, then name Whalley or Longridge only if you work there. Phone, form and search setup are part of the build. We will not invent a valley case study.

Who will I deal with in Clitheroe?

Matt, based in Darwen, not a rep who covers the Ribble Valley on a rota. You speak to the person who will structure the Clitheroe page and build it.
