Example design
Northline Roofing
Roofing company. An example design for a roofer whose quotes depend on the visitor understanding the job before they call.
Problem
Roofing enquiries arrive half-described. The caller knows there is a leak or a tired roof, and the website does not help them say which. The office spends the first conversation collecting facts the site could have asked for.
What was wrong
A single services page, no distinction between repair and replacement, and a stock photograph of a roof that is not theirs. The click-to-call link is missing on mobile. There is no explanation of what a quote visit includes.
Strategy
Split repair, replacement and flat roofs. Put the phone number and a short form in the first screen. Use a calculator only as a range, with the exclusions written beside it, and send the visitor to a confirmed survey rather than a made-up price.
Design
A direct layout: the job type, the area covered, and the next step. Photographs in a real version would be of their own work, labelled with the system used. The example shows the structure without pretending to be a finished photo library.
Development
A small quote-range tool, a form that asks for property type and access, and click-to-call that is obvious on a phone. The range would be maintained by the roofer, not hidden in code they cannot change.
SEO
Service pages written around the searches a householder actually makes, tied to the towns they cover. Google Business Profile details kept consistent with the site. No pile of near-duplicate location pages.
Result
The example gives the roofer a page for each kind of job, a phone path that is hard to miss, and a range tool that sets expectations before the survey.
Apply this thinking to your site.
The website check is free. A project conversation comes after, if you want one.
