What a customer in Chorley needs to see first
Chorley sits between Preston and Bolton. People search the town itself and the villages around it, so a single homepage with no place names does less than a page that says where you will travel. People search the market town and the villages around it, not one anonymous 'Lancashire' label.
Chorley, between Preston and Bolton
Chorley sits between Preston and Bolton. It is a market town with a centre, surrounding villages, and newer housing toward the M61. A homepage that never names a place does less than a page that says where you will travel.
A firm can be busy in the town centre and still be invisible to someone searching a village just outside it. The useful page is the one that lists the villages you actually visit and stays quiet about the ones you do not.
- Say Chorley, and then the villages, rather than a single line that says 'north west'.
- If Preston or Bolton is on the round, say which. The town sits between them, which is not the same as covering both.
- Newer housing toward the M61 is a different job from the town centre. Mention the one you want.
Questions
How much does a website cost for a small business in Chorley?
Published starting points are £750, £1,250, £2,000 and £2,500 depending on how far the site has to go. A Chorley firm that also wants village pages pays for the pages that say something different, not a flat fee per place name. We agree the figure before the build.
How long does a website take for a Chorley firm?
Once the village list is settled and the photos exist, a focused site is often a few weeks. Four to eight weeks is typical when the site has to explain several kinds of job. The M61 estates and the town centre do not need two copies of the same paragraph.
Do you work in Chorley?
Yes. Chorley is between Preston and Bolton, and it has its own page because people search the market town by name. The studio is in Darwen. We do not claim a Chorley high-street office.
What is included for Chorley?
The first screen should say Chorley and the next step. Inner pages can name the villages you cover and, if it is true, whether you also go to Preston or Bolton. The form is tested. Rankings are not promised.
Who do I talk to?
Matt, who runs TMWV from Darwen. A Chorley project is not passed to a regional sales team. You can book a call or send the site you already have for a check.
