What a customer in Preston needs to see first
Preston is the administrative centre of Lancashire, north-west of Darwen. Searches are for the city and for places just outside it, including Leyland and Bamber Bridge. A page that only says Lancashire does not answer someone who searched the city, or Leyland and Bamber Bridge just outside it.
Preston, and the places just outside it
Preston is the administrative centre of Lancashire, north-west of Darwen. The city mixes terraces, civic buildings and suburbs that spread into South Ribble. A page aimed at 'Lancashire' does not answer someone who typed Preston.
People also search Leyland and Bamber Bridge. Those are not alternate names for the city centre. If you work in one of them, give it a sentence. If you only work inside Preston, say that, so a South Ribble enquiry does not arrive by mistake.
- Use Preston in the title. Add Leyland or Bamber Bridge only as places you visit.
- Civic buildings, terraces and South Ribble suburbs are different jobs. The copy can tell them apart.
- Do not publish star ratings for Preston. This site does not have any to lend you.
Questions
How much does a website cost for a small business in Preston?
The same published ladder applies in the city: from £750, £1,250, £2,000 and £2,500. Covering Leyland or Bamber Bridge as well is a writing decision, not a Preston surcharge. You see the price in writing first.
How long does a Preston website take?
A straightforward Preston site is often a few weeks after we have the material. Allow 4 to 8 weeks when the site has to separate the city from South Ribble. Waiting on which of Leyland and Bamber Bridge you cover is the usual delay.
Do you work in Preston?
Yes. Preston is north-west of the Darwen studio, and the city is large enough to need its own page. We also work remotely across the UK. There is no Preston office address on this site.
What is included for a Preston business?
A structure that can talk about the city without pretending Leyland and Bamber Bridge are the centre. A phone path, a tested form, and the technical search setup. If you only want the city, the pages will not stuff the suburbs in.
Who will I deal with for a Preston project?
Matt in Darwen. Preston customers are not routed to a city-centre account team. One person scopes the work and builds it.
